Booty Shaper Workout

Happy Sunday All!

I love finishing all my errands done early on Sunday and now I have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. I got a 6 miler done this morning, met a girlfriend for coffee, went to trader joe’s and now I’m back!

It felt really good to get in a long run, but I could tell it’s been awhile….the last mile was a little tough and I definitely slowed down my pace. I haven’t ran a 1/2 marathon since last November, so I’m starting to get the itch. I usually like to have about 3 months to train for a half, so I’m going to start looking for one in January or February. Im excited to get back to a training! Today I also downloaded a couple new songs to add to my playlist, which always motivates me to run a little faster. Here’s a little sample:

On a random tangent, it seems that everyone is starting to get as obsessed with Pumpkin flavored foods & goodies as much as me, and I love it. I’m excited to try this one out…..

Yummy! I also can’t believe Halloween is in 2 weeks!! What the heck. I’ll see if I can convince the hubby to go to a pumpkin patch or haunted house next weekend. 🙂

Here are some pics I took while getting a water break on my run this morning. I swear beach pictures can never get old.

Onto the Workout…

For Lunges, Donkey Kicks, & Leg Circles complete the listed # of reps on both sides!

Remember with lunges and squats always keep knee on top of ankle (not past), and in line with 2nd toe. With the bridges, make sure to keep core tight and not let your back arch.

Get off the couch and get that booty shakin’. Enjoy!

Is it Fall?

So, I had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte today, and it was glorious. I’m going to try really hard NOT to buy one everyday. This is going to prove itself to be quite the difficult task considering there is a Starbucks conveniently located across the street from my work. Wish me luck. Although, it definitely doesn’t feel like Fall yet for me. I’m used to Seattle Falls that consist of falling leaves, colder temperatures, pea-coats, and scarves. It’s still 75 degrees and sunny here in LA, but hey who am I to complain? 🙂

Oh, and did you guys see this awesome deal from Living Social?? ($5 for $10 at Sbux) Yep I bought it, couldn’t resist!

Buy yours here!

Now even though the weather doesn’t “feel like fall” the beginning of football season sure does AND this will be life beginning tonight…..

My husband is originally from Dallas, which means he is a HUGE Cowboys fan. Before I met him I didn’t care much about football- I’d “watch it” with friends but I was more focused on the social aspect. 🙂 Now that I know what’s going on (for the most part) I look forward to the games. I have also acquired some fun Cowboys gear as well, just to show what a great fan I am. Ha. (Partially an excuse to shop, but that’s neither here nor there).

More football games means I’ll be doing more at-home circuit workouts. My biggest goal for this Fall was to spend more time blogging, so I plan on writing up A LOT of full-body at home, quick workouts. Can’t wait to share them!

I leave you guys with the last playlist I used during my workout. Music is a huge motivator for me when I’m on a run, so I’m constantly switching it up and looking for new additions. Let me know what you think!

Does music motivate you to run?

What’s your favorite thing about Fall?

Later Bellas! XOXO
