The New Year Resolution hype is in full swing right now- the gyms are packed the Whole Thirty Book is flying off the shelf!
This year I wanted to set some goals instead of resolutions. For me, goals are more realistic and attainable. It will also be fun to look back on this post 6 months from now to see where I am at! So, here it goes:
*Be More Present. When I’m playing with my kids, that’s where I need to be -not worrying about their next meal, naptime or errand I need to run. And this also means- put down the phone. Don’t get me wrong, I love the convenience of social media & (my Amazon app of course) BUT there needs to be a time and a place. I’m trying to be more mindful of this and hope that will help.
*Give Myself Time to Blog. I started this blog as a hobby because it’s fun! I enjoy writing and having this outlet. Kind of like my online journal. So I think the little pockets of time I have to put down the phone will also free up my “freetime” to blog!
*Become Pop Pilates Certified
& Teach! I’ve loved Pilates for a very long time and have always wanted to more delve into it. The timing just never seemed to exactly work out. I’ve been a fan of the Blogilates youtube
videos for years- high energy and challenging! I know this will be a lot of work, especially carving out the time to learn choreography with the two littles but this time, the timing just seems right!
*Spend one night a week where I read. Curling up in my pajamas, a glass of wine and a good book is so relaxing. We love our tv shows but it’s nice to tune everything else out and escape into a good book!
