Quick Eats for Busy Moms

Happy Friday Blogger Friends!

I am in serious disbelief that it is already the middle of July….that means Donovan is 2 months! It sure has been a blur! The days are busy juggling the two of them but we are making it work. And little man is growing growing, he’s already out of Newborn clothes….that didn’t last long. I’m anxious to see how much he weighs when we go in for his well check next week.

Next week is also a big week because Miss Charlie is starting swim lessons!! So so cute, I can’t wait. Since we have a pool, I want her to be super comfortable with the water ASAP. We already take her in with us and she loves splashing around.

So two months in with two kiddos and I can still say that the days are CRAZY busy. I’m sure that isn’t going to change much, I will likely just get used to it. (lol) Now that Charlotte is finally eating more, I spend a lot of my time prepping her snacks and meals. On top of that, feeding Donovan doesn’t leave much time for my food prep  during the day. For dinners I’ve been relaying on the crockpot and leftovers 😉

Since I’m breastfeeding, I’m really trying to pay attention to what is going into my body. One of the perfect ways for me to get lots of fruits quickly is with Smoothies. And there is something about summertime that always makes me crave one….must be that 100 degrees temperature. My go-to smoothie of late has been: strawberries, banana, blueberries, almond milk and a scoop of Bobs Red Mill protein powder. Major yum.
