Baby Shower and Random Thoughts

I must say today was the first day I woke up and felt like myself again….I’ve been fighting off a mild sickness for the past week and to put it bluntly, it sucked!  I almost feel like last week didn’t exist because I didn’t do much besides sleep and eat. Lame. But oh well, I am back at it this week!

Hubby and I did get out and saw two movies over the weekend….American Sniper and Wild. Both were completely awesome. I didn’t even get up to use the restroom because I didn’t want to miss anything, so that shows you how entertaining they both were!  I just love this time of year with so many new movies out.

I’m thinking of cutting off a little more of my hair and this is my inspiration. I just need to learn how to curl my hair like this….that is always the issue.

This picture is just too cute not share, after one of my naps I went outside to find hubby and Paisley playing basketball together. Literally. She’s a tough little defender.  They were both warn out afterwards, so it was a successful workout for dog and human! Ha!

And lastly, I wanted to share a few pics from my Seattle baby shower from a couple of weeks ago. It went by too fast of course, but was so much fun catching up with everyone that attended. My mom did a great job on all the decorations too 🙂 I can’t wait to see the babies in these cute little onsies!!

babyshower2babyshower3babyshower4babyshowerI hope everyone has a lovely morning!

Have you seen any new movies lately?

How often do you switch up your hair style?

I love that hairstyle! I can’t curl my hair for anything so I know that something like that would just not work on me.

Your baby shower looks so adorable! I love all those super cute onesies. You’ll go through a lot when the babies get here! How exciting!!!

Even just seeing the American Sniper commercial makes me nervous! I think it’s partly because my hubby is a Marine and I know so many Marines, so military movies always just hit a little too close to home for me. The times my hubby has been deployed, forget it… I wouldn’t go anywhere near any type of military movie! Haha.

I’ve chopped my hair off and donated it twice in the past few years. I like how quick my hair dries when it’s short, and it’s just easier to manage, but after I cut it off about a year ago, I just wanted it to be long again. It’s starting to get there! I’m with you, I’m not a great hair curler either. My sister curled my hair with a straightener a few weeks ago and I’ve been meaning to try doing it myself…. though that usually doesn’t turn out well 🙂

Oh man, I already have a hard time watching movies involving the military and I don’t even have someone close that is actually serving! I can imagine…..I think I’d skip out on those movies as well if I were you!!
And I totally go through phases with my hair, I grew it long for the past 3 years and now I want a change again, go figure!

Aww! You seem like you have such a sweet, happy family life. All the best to you!
(And I’ve never heard of those two movies!! Shame that only mainstream and usually crap (sorry) American movies are the only ones that are aired in Hungary. American Sniper looks awesome!!)
