Jamie from MASH UP Conditioning contacted me recently to try out their Tempo Workout DVD. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, then you already know how much I love finding new home workouts. So needless to say, I was anxious to try this one out.
And after doing it, I’m so pumped that I have this DVD at home!
MASH stands for Mind/Body, Agility & Strength and High Intensity Intervals.
The Mash Up Philosophy:
“Benefit from the incredible effectiveness of these scientifically based low-volume high intensity workouts. The goal is to achieve and maintain an optimal level of health that fits into any type of schedule. The most effective approach is to maintain good nutrition at least 80% of the time in addition to an efficient exercise program. Interval Training at It’s Finest!”
Why I’m digging this Workout:
- There are 7 different workouts in this one DVD. The workouts are similar formats, but the routines are definitely mixed up so it’s not boring! They also do a great job of transitioning the exercises throughout the DVD.
- Each routine is 15 minutes! So nice if you don’t have a lot of time and want to get a good sweat. (and yes I was sweating after about 5 minutes). Also, if you want to workout longer than 15 minutes, then just do another routine or 2!
- It’s for all skill levels- I really like that they show a modified and an advanced version of each exercise. So you can always build up your workout with this DVD.
They also have an Endurance DVD and will be coming out soon with a Sprint DVD. All sound fun to me!
