Happy Friday Everyone!! And Happy Long Weekend too.
I can’t believe that it’s basically September already…..not sure where summer went??!
If you read my most recent post, you know all the changes that have been on with us this past month. (Maybe that’s why August flew by)
Getting a new job was a big deal for me and took a lot of time for me to make that decision. Without going into too much deal, I was at a crossroads knowing that this wasn’t the right place for me to grow in my career and I wasn’t as happy as I have been before with past jobs.
But at the same time I was struggling with that fact that I was fortunate to have a job and it was comfortable.
I ran across this quote on Pinterest awhile back and it always kind of “stuck” with me.
For some reason I had a hard time coming to my final decision because it was something I had to do on my own- no one could tell me what’s right or what’s wrong. I had to decide what was in the best interest for ME and not for anyone else.
In between jobs I’m taking a week off, which is going to be fabulous. There is still so much here in LA that I haven’t been able to explore, so I am hoping to get in some touristy stuff and relaxing too of course. 🙂
I’ll be back soon with a new workout to share!
Whoa! It’s been awhile!!
Needless to say August has been a very busy month…..
I wanted to check in and share what’s been going on and finally have time today~: We moved into a new house, traveled out of town for 2 weddings, and I accepted a new job. Whew.
I’m still exhausted thinking about how crazy my life has been lately, but it’s looking like things are finally going to calm down and get “back to normal.”
Our little munchkin, Paisley is getting all settled in too. And growing too….already up to 52 pounds!! How the heck did that happen?!
One of the weddings we went to was in Idaho and the scenery was so gorgeous!
Here’s some pics from that trip!
Last week we were in Dallas at another awesome wedding! It’s always so fun catching up with friends we don’t get to see that often.
My workouts have definitely been up and down with all the traveling and unpacking. I did what I could when we were in town, but while traveling it was tough fitting some concentrated workouts in. But oh well, that’s life. Luckily though we moved even closer to the beach and have super easy access to running and bike trails that I’ve finally had time to explore this week.
And I’m a 2 minute walk to a Pure Barre Studio. Woo hoo. Can’t get any more convenient. And the studio is so cute! Here’s some shots I took this week:
Oh and this is our new view that’s about a 10 minute jog from the new place…..doesn’t get much better than this!
Be back SOON!
